Pricing

What a vehicle wrap actually costs in the Seattle area

Every wrap shop in this metro hides pricing behind a contact form, including the ones ranking above this page. We think that wastes your afternoon, so here is where our pricing starts, what moves it, and how to read a competitor's number next to ours.

2026 starting prices by vehicle

We publish floors rather than ranges, because a range just tells you the cheapest number and then disappoints you. Every price below is where that job starts for a standard body in good condition.

Vehicle Partial wrap from Full wrap from
Compact car / sedan $1,100 $2,600
Standard cargo van $1,700 $3,400
Sprinter / high-roof van $2,300 $4,600
Pickup truck $1,400 $3,100
16–26 ft box truck $2,600 $5,400
Cut vinyl lettering only $450

What these numbers are

Starting prices, not quotes, effective January 2026 and reviewed quarterly. They cover design, printed cast vinyl, matching laminate and installation on a standard body in good condition. Removing an old wrap, non-standard or heavily corrugated bodies, matte and color-shift films, ceramic-coated surfaces, rush turnaround and off-site installation all sit outside them.

A quote landing well below these numbers usually means calendered vinyl instead of cast, no laminate, or an installer who will not be removing door handles. All three show up in year two.

What actually moves the number

Two identical vans can differ by $1,500. The variables, roughly in order of impact:

  • Coverage. Full versus partial is the single biggest lever, and it is mostly a labor question, not a material one.
  • Body complexity. Deep corrugations on a box truck, sculpted bumpers, rivets, and roof curves all add hours.
  • Design state. Print-ready vector art from your designer costs nothing to prepare. A logo pulled off a website needs rebuilding first.
  • Removal of an old wrap. Budget $500–$1,200 per vehicle, more if the previous shop used the wrong adhesive.
  • Finish. Matte, satin, and color-shift films carry a premium over standard gloss.

Where people overspend

Full-wrapping a fleet when a strong partial would do. On a ten-van rollout, choosing partials often frees enough budget for three more vehicles — and three more vans on the road beats a glossier version of seven.

Fleet pricing works differently

Per-vehicle cost drops meaningfully past roughly five units, because design is amortized once and the crew stops re-learning the layout. The catch is color consistency: a wrap printed nine months after the first batch has to match the first batch.

Ask any shop you are considering one question — do you keep the printer profile and the original file for reprints? If the answer is vague, your eleventh van will be a slightly different color than your first, and everyone will notice.

We do not publish fleet pricing, because past roughly five vehicles the number depends on body mix, staging and how far apart the batches land. Fleet work is quoted, not listed.

How long it lasts here

Cast vinyl with matching laminate is rated five to seven years. Western Washington is genuinely easy on wraps — far less UV than Arizona or Texas — so vehicles here regularly reach the top of that range. What kills wraps locally is not sun but pressure washing at close range, automatic brushes, and moss where a vehicle parks under trees.

Reading two quotes side by side

Make both shops answer the same five questions:

  1. Cast or calendered vinyl? (Cast, for anything past two years.)
  2. Is laminate included, and is it matched to the film?
  3. Are door handles, mirrors, and trim removed for install?
  4. What is the warranty on installation, separate from material?
  5. Who keeps the print file and color profile for reprints?

A shop that answers all five without hedging is quoting the same job you are picturing. One that will not is quoting something cheaper.

A wrapped van is the cheapest impression-per-mile any local business buys. It is also the most visible thing you own. Both facts argue against saving $400 on it.

What to send for a real number

A photo of each side of the vehicle, the year/make/model, and your logo file. That is enough for us to quote accurately in a business day. See our wrap services or recent fleet work, and read the Renton sign permit guide if you are also putting your name on the building.

Send a photo. Get a number.

One business day, no sales sequence, no "packages" you did not ask about.
